Bearing the Fruit of the Spirit: Patience

The problem of the unreached world cannot be solved by social reform, political systems, or humanitarian efforts alone.

Every believer is a work in progress, gradually being transformed into the image of Christ. Along this journey we may stumble, fail, or make serious mistakes. Yet God’s grace continually invites us back into relationship with Him.

From the beginning, God’s mandate to humanity was both cultural and missional. Humanity is created in God’s image and commanded to be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, and exercise stewardship, which establishes influence, expansion, and responsibility (Genesis 1:27–28).

Life constantly presents us with moments where what we see contradicts what God has spoken. We pray, yet the situation looks unchanged. We obey, yet progress seems slow. We commit to God’s way, yet others who ignore Him appear to advance faster.

This Bible study is a prophetic call to action as we conclude Family Month. Scripture warns that our adversary the devil prowls like a roaring lion, seeking to steal our joy, kill our relationships, and destroy our testimony (1 Peter 5:8; John 10:10).
